    One thing that would allow for a huge DoomZ game would be the ability to run multiple parallel games across several servers at once. When you leave one server, you could then jump to and from servers. In single player (and actually mp too) you can have a hubbed game that lets you jump back and forth between maps, but this would jump for everyone.

    By using database access with zandronum this could be split, and a pop-up comes up to tell you which server to join, but this is a bit faffy. I wonder if you could do it by setting a script on the server to redirect IPs to different ports. When it notices you should have moved over to zone 2, it forwards the port to the other server, and your game drops and then reconnects on the new map, and it carries across all of your items.

    Is there a better way of doing this?
